Pattern Notes: This pattern is trickier than most of the other available here so it may not be suitable for beginners. First trace the entire outline of the baby carriage on the back of your card stock but DO NOT cut it out. This will just serve as a guide so you know where to trace and cut out the numbered areas. You will only be cutting out the numbered areas of the pattern not the entire thing as shown in the illustration on the pattern. After cutting out the 3 separate areas, complete the iris folding. The area between the wheels is narrow so you will need to trim each piece very well before taping it down.
Turn your card over so you are looking at the front to finish it. Take the pattern and cut out each of the un-numbered areas. Trace each piece on the back of paper of your choice and cut each piece out. Now assemble them on the front of your card and glue them in place.
To complete this project you will need:
A piece of cardstock that is larger than the pattern
2 different papers for iris folding portions of this pattern
Scrap pieces of coordinating card stock
Scissors or craft knife and cutting board
Removable tape(masking tape or blue painter's tape)
Holographic paper for the irises(optional)
